LS•STUDIO began with a return: to the body, to matter and to a quieter form of attention.
NYÜBU names that origin — entering the mountain in order to return differently.
A practice shaped by sensitivity.
Returning to the body.
For years, I worked inside rhythms that valued speed, appearance and constant output. The more I adapted to them, the further I moved from my own way of perceiving.
Returning to León and to the mountain was not an escape from the world. It was a change in distance.
Walking, silence, stone, water and darkness made attention physical again. I began to understand that space is felt before it is explained — and that sensitivity is not a weakness to overcome, but a precise way of reading relationships.

I am Lucía Silva, founder of LS•STUDIO.
My background is in architecture and digital design, but my practice begins with something more immediate: how the body receives the world.
I have always been highly aware of light, sound, texture, proximity and atmosphere. What once felt like too much perception gradually became a way of reading space — and the foundation of how I design.
I am interested in what happens before language: the moment a surface changes our attention, a boundary creates distance or a form alters the way we move through space.
NYÜBU
To enter the mountain is to return differently.
NYÜBU names a recurring movement: stepping away from noise, crossing a threshold, listening more closely and returning with another orientation.
It is not a design method or a promise of retreat. It is the philosophical origin of the studio — a reminder that distance can reveal, darkness can sharpen perception and return can become transformation.

Allowing the body to perceive before explaining.

Bringing a different attention back into the world.
Nature is not a reference image.
It is a teacher of relationships.
Stone holds pressure.
Water carries change.
Bone structures.
Membrane filters.
Light reveals thresholds.
I do not reproduce natural forms literally. I study their intelligence: density, porosity, tension, permeability, articulation, protection and release.
These behaviours become a vocabulary for developing body-scale pieces, objects, furniture and spatial experiences.
Intuition notices.
Research tests.
Matter answers.
My process often begins with a sensation, tension or question that is not yet fully verbal.
That intuition is examined through observation, research, AI-assisted visual exploration, digital sculpture, prototyping and material testing.
The speculative and the physical remain in conversation. Images open possibilities; making introduces scale, resistance and consequence.
This is where a personal way of perceiving becomes a practice that others can encounter.
This is where the work begins.
From this origin, LS•STUDIO develops body-scale pieces, objects, furniture and spatial concepts that explore how the world reaches the body.
The scale changes. The attention remains.
